**Position Overview**:
Conducts and processes all clerical tasks related to the patient’s period of hospitalization within the unit/ program area in collaboration with the patient care team members.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Unit Clerk.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Microsoft office (excel, word, etc.).
- Electronic Kidney Health Record and Electronic Patient Record experience preferred.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Grade 12, minimum.
- Completion of a recognized Unit Clerk course required.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:
Not Applicable

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Written and verbal command of the English Language essential.
- Good communication skills essential.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships within a team environment essential.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Mental and physical health to meet the position demands.

**This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.**

The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services. Effective April 1, 2024, Golden West Centennial Lodge will also be part of the WRHA legal entity.
