**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in the natural resource field or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in negotiating and mediating solutions with stakeholders and/or partners in natural resource management.
- Comprehensive experience in regulatory management in the applicable natural resource field.
- Experience managing technical and/or professional staff in resource management or infrastructure development.
- Experience supervising, leading, coaching and mentoring staff.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent.
- May require the operation of a variety of equipment.

This is a temporary opportunity for approximately one year; this may be extended or become permanent.
This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Forests’ offices in the North Area: Fort Saint James, Mackenzie, Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fort Nelson, Fort St John, Dawson Creek, Burns Lake, Smithers, or Terrace.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in the above locations.
