**About the role**:
**Responsibilities**:
Field Team Manpower Planning and Recruitment:

- Collaborate closely with Area managers and Operations leaders to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive manpower plan that aligns with field team needs, ensuring the timely availability of skilled workers and temporary foreign workers.
- Lead the recruitment process for field positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Participate in job fairs, industry events, and networking activities to build a talent pipeline.
- Assist and support corporate recruitment when needed

Agency Management and Compliance:

- Identify, select, and manage relationships with recruitment & immigration agencies
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations related to temporary foreign workers recruitment.
- Monitor agency performance, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.

Manpower Planning and Strategy:

- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, both for field and corporate positions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes.

Onboarding and Orientation:

- Put in place efficient recruitment & onboarding workflows to support Area managers and hiring managers with proper screening and compliant onboarding
- Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Collaborate with the managers, H&S and the HR team to develop and deliver orientation programs to familiarize new employees with company policies and culture and ensure compliance.

Compliance and Documentation:

- Stay updated on immigration laws, regulations, and changes related to temporary foreign worker recruitment.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, including documentation required for compliance purposes.

**Profile Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on temporary foreign workers in the construction or projects-based industry.
- Proven experience managing agency relationships and negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws and regulations related to foreign worker recruitment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Bilingual in French considered an asset.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
