Over the last years, Air Liquide Canada has invested in data science and worked closely with our Innovations Campuses centers to improve employees and customers experience. We are now looking for a Data Quality Manager to join our team.
The Data Quality Manager will be in charge of:

- Data Quality life-cycle at Air Liquide Canada from its generation to its use:

- Understand the data architecture and work with the IT Department to improve data models to support business activities.
- Understand business processes that are driven by the use of data
- Document data life-cycle and propose data quality standards to enable the business to maximize the potential of the use of data across the business.
- Identify watch points and address them with preventive and corrective solutions
- Put in place the data quality enhancement methodology (business & technical assessment, implementation & sustainability, capitalization)
- Put in place data quality governance (quality improvement plans + lead data quality projects to ensure data accuracy and clean up the legacy issues)
- Improve data quality by leveraging Master data, Reference data and Core data models
- Onboard data owners to focus on data quality and make them understand the value of the data:

- Engage with leadership and other key stakeholders to drive adoption of good data management practice across the business. Create and monitor data quality KPIs.
- Be the primary advocate for good data management (including standard and governance) and use, utilizing great communications and persuasion skills.
- Maintain relationships with all data users, actively driving engagement, adoption and usage - and providing processes, training and support to ensure data quality standards are maintained.
- Adoption of a data-centric mindset to:

- Identify business opportunities for value creation by taking advantage of Core Data Models, Master Data Referential and API (Application Programming Interface)
- Capture business requirements & support teams to obtain data in forms of excel, csv, google sheets or SQL queries.
- Collaboration to ongoing data science research projects with our Innovations Campuses centers and WorldWide community

**Are you a MATCH?**:

- Bachelor’s degrees in science, business, engineering or information technology.
- A business focus and with ability to contribute to the overall quality of business development
- Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, provincial and local regulations
- Strong experience of Microsoft Office (Advanced level excel skills), and Google suites
- Technically literate (SQL and Python or R) with an understanding of database and schema design
- Communication and influencing skills
- Experience of creating processes and delivering services by using tools such as data mapping, data and business flow diagrams
- Experience of training staff on the use of good business process and the technology used to deliver process (from an end user perspective)
- Excellent analytical skills with experience of creating reports and dealing with large volumes of data with PowerBI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
