Flying Camel is looking for a talented Content Specialist to join our growing team. If you have agency experience and share a love for interior design and social media - we want to hear from you

In this exciting role, you will provide critical support to Flying Camel’s clients’ core social media and digital communication functions, working under the direction of our Digital Strategist and alongside our creative team. You will be responsible for concepting and delivering social media and digital communications strategies. To be successful in this role, you must have superior attention to detail in copywriting, and visual design across content platforms including digital and video.

**Typical duties may include**:

- Develop, drive and execute an ambitious social media strategy with measurable KPIs to grow social media channels for multiple clients. This includes copywriting for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and blogging platforms
- Research and write client blog posts
- Develop and produce content campaigns (paid and organic) that drive success for our exciting roster of clients
- Conduct research and stay current with industry trends, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform content strategy and improve content effectiveness
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines and style standards
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and track content performance using analytics tools to measure its impact and make data-driven improvements. Design, implement and track social media advertising strategy and budget
- Manage client social communities by engaging and monitoring conversations and making new and influential connections
- Troubleshoot scheduling, posts, boosts and other challenges when they arise
- Track campaign successes, create reports based on incoming data with analysis of successes and possible improvements
- Other duties as required

**Required skills and experience**:

- Exceptional writing skills (high-level grammar and spelling are a must)
- 3+ years of social media community management experience - agency experience preferred
- Post-secondary education in advertising, digital, public relations, communications or journalism
- Knowledge and experience with social media listening and digital marketing reporting tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, LinkedIn/ Twitter/ Pinterest Analytics)
- Experience with video-first strategies and video editing programs is an asset
- Keen interest in the interior design industry
- Experience managing and growing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram)
- Experience working budgets for organic social media growth
- Familiarity with community management, analytics platforms, and social communications tools
- Proficient in content curation and design tools (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, willingness to go the extra mile to make the team stronger
- Self-starter who can figure out how it needs to be done and when
- Team player with a sense of humour (sometimes you just have to laugh)
- Experience building and maintaining internal and external partnerships and relationships
