**Our Opportunity**

We are seeking a loader operator to fill a seasonal full-time opening working in our aggregate production facility. Competitive wages with opportunity for a comprehensive benefits package.

**Responsibilities**
- Report directly to the Pit Supervisor
- Participate and engage in daily Tailboard meetings, identify hazards and assist in crew compliance to safety policies and regulations
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s safe work procedures
- Required to work with mínimal supervision and easily understand tasks at hand
- Conduct equipment inspections, and accurately complete daily logs of equipment maintenance.
- Perform duties such as loading trucks, transporting, and stockpiling material
- Required to fuel and grease equipment daily
- Keep work area and equipment clean
- Proactively communicated with Pit Supervisor and co-workers
- Communicate using a radio in compliance with radio protocol
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation as required and in compliance with office standards

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience with references
- Valid class 5 drivers’ licence
- Must be personable, able to work independently and as a team, and must possess strong communication skills
- Knowledge of aggregate an asset
- Ability and willingness to work in adverse conditions
- Experience operating various machines from excavators to skid steers an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
