Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a dental office setting is mandatory
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar
- Check-in patients and verify insurance information
- Collect patient payments and provide receipts
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is mandatory
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and phone systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as Epic
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and vendors
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and appearance
