**Location**:
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for operating a road sweeper and will be working afternoons for the majority of the year (April-October).

**Responsibilities**:
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible to:
- Operate a street sweeper to clean roads, parking lots and medians.- Operate a variety of heavy equipment and specialized machinery, specifically equipment utilized in asphalt activities.- Install, adjust, and remove various attachments to vehicles, machinery, and equipment.- Transport heavy equipment, materials and personnel to various job sites and work locations.-
- Maintain accurate and detailed records including but not limited to accomplishments, deficiencies, and actions taken.- Manually perform maintenance and repairs as required.

**Requirements**:
You have a high school diploma and demonstrated experience in operating various pieces of construction-related equipment and vehicles. Previous asphalt experience is preferred.

You also have a valid DZ license with a clean driving record (no more than three (3) driving related convictions or an accumulation of no more than three (3) demerit points in the previous three (3) years prior to the date of hire), with the ability to obtain a restricted Class A license.

There is a possibility of 24/7 shifts for winter control.
