**Core Responsibilities**:

- General Accounting including processing invoices, posting bills, receiving and posting cheques, EFT payments, and credit card payments.
- Monitoring and reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Monitoring and reconciling inventory and preparing adjustments.
- Preparing GST, WorkSafe BC, and Employer Health Tax filings.
- Preparing month-end reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly and yearly financial statements and other financial reports.
- Preparing financial forecasts, cash flow forecasts, and budgets.
- Enter and maintain customer and supplier data.
- Filing and maintaining all records related to standard accounting principles.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2+ years’ work experience in an accounting environment.
- Experience with any or all the following: CRM, ERP, and Excel.
- Knowledge of office systems, procedures, and business practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and prioritization of tasks.
- Excellent understanding of business professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong problem solving and analytical ability, able to work effectively under pressure within a fast-pasted team environment
- Highly detail oriented with a strong emphasis placed on accuracy to maintain accounting procedures.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally in both oral and written formats with internal staff and external clients
- Ability to work hybrid from our location in South Slocan on an as-needed basis, preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $49,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
