**Overview**
- We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable individual to join our team as an Asphalt Oil Truck Driver in Edmonton and surrounding Area. As driver, you will be responsible for operating a Super B truck to transport asphalt oil to and from various job sites. Your exceptional driving skills and attention to safety will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of jobs.**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a Super B truck to transport asphalt oil.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving the truck.
- Perform walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identify safety problems or concerns and report any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and areas where safety can be improved.
- Communicate with load and unload areas, haul asphalt oil safely to designated areas and maintain safe speed and observes all haulage.
- Offload oil at designated locations, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the truck, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and cleaning the vehicle regularly.
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.
- May perform emergency roadside repairs and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and qualities**:

- Valid Class 1 Drivers License with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in a Super B truck, preferably in a construction or similar environment.
- Solid understanding of traffic rules, regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other personnel.
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of driving and loading/unloading materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Workers must be punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Able to conform to our drug and alcohol policy.
