- Our Glazier positions have a **wage range of $18 -$22** per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Our **AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada** facility, in Chilliwack BC, is looking for an energetic **Glazier** to join our Glass and Glazing Department. This entry-level position works with all types of glass and the process of cutting and fitting glass.

**Essential functions for this role are**:

- Pre-glaze D15’s (reverse slider, lift up and half drop), hair the inside channel and put track in the bottom of the window, place glass in and put the top track in
- Glaze all fixed windows (pushing in rubber or hammering it in)
- Caulk windows, Fixed windows and sliders that require it
- Putting vents together (106 and 400 series) hair the vents for X and O, place handle on the X glass if it requires it, place vent rubber around the glass if it’ is not a glue in vent
- Caulk all vents that require it
- Make sure glass and frames are clean from all marks or dirt
- Bending to squat position
- Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Stand for 8-10 hours
- Periodic exposure to cold & hot temperatures

**If you have the following experience, qualifications and skills, we want to hear from you**
- High school education or GED equivalent
- 0-1-year experience of glass and/or glazing experience is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable working with glass
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong willingness to learn
- Positive outgoing attitude; with a professional demeanor
