Matrix HR is currently recruiting for a
**Plant Services Maintenance Technician** for a client located in Kitimat BC. This is a contract role lasting minimum 6 months with the possible extension for 12+ months. This is full time with occasional work on weekends or outside normal daytime hours when needed.

**Location**:Kitimat BC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the maintenance team both internal and external, operation and project preventative and routing mechanical tasks.
- Managing safety for all activities, tasks and projects based on assessed hazards, identified critical risks and mitigating actions.
- Participate in major maintenance unplanned activities on critical assets.
- Executing planned and unplanned tasks.
- Documenting compliance checks.
- Reporting and raising notifications for equipment not operating/functioning as designed.
- Create CogniBox, use Take 5, CRM’s, MicroSoft Programs are part of day to day tasks.
- Safety interactions as required.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- College or Associates Degree.
- Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Suite Knowledge.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Professional conversation skills.
- Scoping of tasks, planning of scoped task, working with internal trades and or contractors.
- SAP experience (Asset).
