**Your Shangri-La awaits**

We are currently searching for a superstar **Banquet & In-Room Dining Server (IRD) **to join our team on a** part-time** basis.

**Position Description**
- Review and understand BEOs, event plans, guest order tickets, ensure orders are set up as per the customer request.
- Read and execute specifications listed on BEOs, guest order tickets, paying close attention to special needs/requests.
- Attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure consistent knowledge of products, services and guest preferences.
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages.
- Maintaining proper standards of service to ensure a positive dining experience: delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
- Have a good understanding and be able to communicate products and services to guests, when required.
- Deliver and serve drinks, food, meals, condiments, and accompaniments etc.
- Prepare tables, action stations, service carts, dessert table/carts.
- Replenish items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
- Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
- Attend tables by removing and separating tableware, plate ware, glassware, and flatware.
- Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from guest to the Banquet & IRD Manager.
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Undertake other ad hoc related responsibilities, as required
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- **Education & Skill Requirements**
- Previous Customer Service skills is required.
- Previous experience in banquets, room service, restaurant service is preferred.
- Flexible availability - required to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as required.
- Current Serving it Right and Food Safe Level 1 certification is required.
- Salary/Wage: 18.47 + gratuities
