Job Description: As a Field Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our operations, working on-site to assess and survey projects at the ground level. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of project staff to collect accurate data and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct surveys to assess agricultural fields, outlets, ditches, existing tile drains, and related infrastructure.
- Utilize surveying equipment such as GPS devices, control stations, and other tools to collect accurate data.
- Record and document field observations, measurements, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the project manager to review project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
- Identify potential issues or challenges and propose solutions to ensure project design success.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations during field surveys.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a basic understanding of GPS.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required, with the expectation that extended time away during to production seasons will be needed.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
