Ski Boot Fitter

Job available in Collingwood. Experience an asset but not essential, full training will be provided.

Pulse Boot Lab is expanding our expert, international bootfitting service in Collingwood. Our clients travel from around the world to our stores in Revelstoke and Banff, and this is our second year representing Eastern Canada in the heart of the Ontario skiing community. Join our team and help connect an incredibly diverse base of skiers with the best ski boot experience possible. Use the latest in bootfitting technology and techniques to help improve the ski experience for all skiers from beginners to world class athletes. Learn how to construct custom insoles and liners. Use our proprietary Fit Assistant technology to 3D scan our skiers’ feet, allowing us to find the most appropriate boots for each skier. Share your passion and love for skiing in a way that makes the biggest difference to our customers.

The Company:
Started in Revelstoke, BC, Pulse is a unique, specialty concept shop providing custom fit boots and boot fitting specific products. A position at Pulse includes elements of sales, combined with all technical elements of the fitting industry, and involves working with our proprietary liners, tools and software, and fun-loving, enthusiastic, and passionate coworkers. We believe that every skier is unique, we recognize that each individual’s needs can differ. With over 80 years of combined fitting experience, we pride ourselves in providing the highest levels of service, professionalism, and quality fitting.

The Position:
We’re looking for boot fitters and technicians. We provide competitive salary based on experience, and ability to adapt existing skill set to complement our fitting process and products. A fitting role at Pulse is not dissimilar to an apprenticeship where we provide formal and informal direction and training.

**Requirements**:

- Customer care/service experience in retail or hospitality industry
- Passion for skiing and drive to improve the skiing experience of others
- Ability to multitask in a high energy, high paced environment
- International boot fitting experience preferred but not essential
- Mechanical aptitude/detail oriented

**Responsibilities**:

- All aspects of retail sales, service and client care.
- Technical aspects of boot/liner/footbed fabrication and modification

Season Opening Dates:
Starting in October, closing mid April.
