**JOB REPORTING TO: Oat Sales Manager**

**DESCRIPTION**:Armstrong Milling is looking for an experienced individual to work within the office setting to provide expertise as a **Commodity Import Clerk **for the company.

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT**:Working exclusively at the Armstrong Milling head office in Nelles Corners, ON.

**POSITION TYPE**: Part Time - 3 Days per week - Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm

**PAY RANGE**: $24 to $28 per hour Depending on Experience.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Attend Grain Huddle Meeting every week.
- Troubleshoot issues with receiving and A/P.
- Send out receiving's to each supplier after checking all spreadsheets for any issues/discounts applicable.
- When rejections happen, update Supplier Performance Log and advise Quality and Oats Team
- Update Elevator/Resale via Google Calendar.
- Create Commodity Contracts, PO’s and contract completion from Suppliers.
- Input all Grain Purchase contracts into respective position pages and maintain.
- Weekly oat releases, create commodity releases when needed, and maintain inbound commodity spreadsheets for Elevator/Warehouse.
- Understand the process flow of intermodal and help follow through with inbound and detention charges to be sure we pay correctly.
- Booking freight and all Logistics/Customs requirements for inbound commodities.
- Look for potential opportunities for intermodals/railcars. Focus on getting best freight rates.
- Attend monthly Grain Meeting with prepared tracking sheets and take minutes.

**SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Create Commodity Contracts, SO’s, Direct shipment and contract completion for Customers.
- Input all Grain Sales contracts into respective position pages.
- Booking freight and all Logistics/Customs requirements for outbound commodities.
- Handle per charge basis outbound and detention charges to be sure we pay and get paid correctly.
- Assist with inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain Groaters Google Calendar & ERP Schedule.
- Create Customer COA & paperwork requirements.
- Maintain Groating Quality Control Points: Magnet Check paperwork and samples
- Outbound Quality - rejections
- Attend all meetings required to meet the business objectives of the organization.
- Be willing and able to work and be trained in other positions elsewhere in the operation whenever required.
- Any other task or duty deemed necessary by your direct report.
- Holiday back up for the Purchasing and Oat Customer Relations Coordinator

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
