**Key Responsibilities**
- Method development, method validation, method transfer, stability, characterization, and in-vitro bioequivalence activities for new pharmaceutical products
- Performs HPLC and GC testing (including troubleshooting and problem solving) and other required testing
- Evaluates all results generated for consistency and accuracy
- Develops specifications for finished product, bulk product, and raw materials
- Provides technical training to junior chemists to enable them to perform technical tasks
- Performs Daily calibration of lab equipment such as balance, pH meter and Reverse Osmosis water unit as per SOPs
- Audits laboratory documentation for compliance with quality & regulatory guidance’s

**Knowledge/Technical Skills**
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in chemistry (or) pharmaceutical sciences
- 3 to 7 years pharmaceutical industry experience as a research chemist in method development, analytical method validation and formulation research
- Strong laboratory knowledge with strong ability to plan, coordinate, execute projects
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to train other chemists
- Good written and oral communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
