**Qualifications**:

- Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current CPR
- Successful completion of Medication Administration and Asepsis Courses
- Competencies in initiating IV Therapy
- Good physical health
- Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgment
- Above average skills in physical assessments
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Proven desire and ability to work in a collaborative (RPN/RN) team practice
- Most possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the College of Nurses’ and Hospital’s Codes of Conduct
- Proven attendance record
- Willing to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends

**Duties**:

- General nursing duties including but not restricted to Long Term Care, Acute Care and Emergency Unit
