**Position: Dump Truck Driver - Excavation and Septic Services**

**Salary**: $18 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)

Sanitec is a leading provider of excavation and septic services in the Halifax Regional Municipality. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver at Sanitec, you will play a crucial role in our operations, transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate dump trucks to transport materials, equipment, and debris to and from job sites.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist with excavation and septic system projects as needed, including manual labor and equipment operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure safe and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported, mileage, and hours worked.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to truck operation.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must adhere to all relevant labor laws and possess any required licenses or certifications for working in the HRM.
