We are a Cardiology clinic with multiple locations across GTA. We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate and highly organized medical receptionist to ensure the medical environment is welcoming and calm for our patients.

The medical receptionist is responsible for smooth operation of the front desk, patient service experience, appointment scheduling, patient registration, medical chart tracking, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Must be willing to travelling to both Mississauga and Brampton office.

Schedule:

- Tuesdays and bi
- weekly Thursdays at Mississauga
- 1 Friday per month at Brampton
- Two days work from Home

**Experience**:

- Medical Secretaries & Patient Registrars: 1-2 years (preferred)

Tasks and Duties:

- Greeting patients in person or on the telephone, answering inquiries and scheduling appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and the physician’s time
- Responsible for the initial processing through the EMR system and updating and documenting patient information as necessary, obtaining results of diagnostic investigations prior to patient’s appointments
- Ensures all medical services performed by physician are entered into the system for OHIP and third party billing
- Prep/tidy exam rooms
- Obtain patient height and weight and direct them to exam rooms to ensure there is a continuous patient flow
- Schedule tests and procedures as directed by the physician
- Maintain incoming mail, faxes, documents, tasks, ordering office stationary and medical supplies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of personal health information

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
