**How to Apply**:
**General Purpose**:

- To work with Arts, Culture and Heritage staff to help develop the industry in the County of Brant and to help capture and share the stories of the County of Brant.

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Evaluate the Arts, Culture & Heritage assets within Brant.
- Establish contacts with assets.
- Collect and prepare preliminary data on assets in preparation of the Arts, Culture & Heritage Strategy initiative.
- Complete research for the Arts, Culture and Heritage field.
- Work with local artists, creatives, and community members to support the industry and collect the stories of the community.
- Create content for "The Heart of Brant" blog.
- Provide support for various Arts, Culture & Heritage tasks including the Heritage Committee and events.

**Knowledge/Skills Required**:

- Experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point specifically)
- Strong research and data entry skills
- Good organizational skills
- Well developed analytical skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of effectively dealing with individuals at all levels within the municipal organization
- Photography and photoshopping skills
- Collaboration experience while able to work independently
- Passion for storytelling and capturing stories
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Work experience in a Municipal setting dealing with heritage matters would be an asset
- Experience with writing articles would be an asset
- Valid class G driver’s license and use of a vehicle with acceptable driver’s abstract is required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
- Ability to work remotely

**Education**:Completed at least one year of post-secondary education and enrolled in an Arts, Culture & Heritage program or a related field in Tourism or History.

**Duration**:May to August

**Salary**:$21.35
