Position Overview:
- The Arborist works collaboratively with other Forestry team members to perform year-round urban tree care using a variety of techniques and arboriculture equipment. This position performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and is involved in full cycle of tree care from planting pruning, maintenance and removals.**Responsibilities**:
- Perform a variety of tasks in a team environment, related to tree care including but not limited to planting, pruning, and removing trees using various equipment/machinery and climbing techniques.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- ISA certification in good standing or an ON certified Arborist.
- Valid MTO “DZ” driver's license in good standing.
- Must hold a Chainsaw Operator Certificate or License.
- Experience in proper care and operation of Forestry related equipment including Chipper, Stumper, Chipper Truck and Aerial device.
- Must be reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
