Recreation Supervisor

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:RECREATION SUPERVISOR

**RESPONSIBLE TO**:Recreation Manager

**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
1. Providing efficient, attentive and friendly service to the guest

2. Adherence to established standards

3. Supervising and Ensuring staff are following established standards

4. Practices good customer relations and suggestive selling

**STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE**:
1. Quality of grooming

2. Quality of friendliness and sensitivity to guests' needs

3. Quality of service provided

4. Degree of guest acceptance and satisfaction

5. Quality of coordinating with peers and results achieved

**BASIC FUNCTIONS**:
1. Providing direct guest services in the work area

2. Maintaining cleanliness of the work area

3. Programming in the work area

**GENERAL DUTIES**:
1. Reports to work on time and in full uniform

2. Follows established sign in/out procedures

3. Knowledge of services offered in the hotel

4. Maintains staff adherence to established standards

5. Maintains staffing levels and provides training

6. Maintenance and cleanliness of work area (pools, change rooms, corridors, and grounds)

7. Maintains guest adherence to regulations of areas

8. Maintenance and cleanliness equipment and storage spaces

9. Maintenance and organization of recreation supplies

10. Greeting guests in a friendly manner

11. Other duties as assigned by management

12. Informs manager of guest comments promptly

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**:
1. Appearance and Grooming

a. Clean uniform

b. Neat hairstyle

c. Clean fingernails

d. Shoes clean

e. Shower daily

f. Use of mild cologne and deodorant

g. Name tag

h. Minimum jewellery

2. Service

a. Arranges and cleans furniture, fixtures, equipment

b. Ensures cleanliness of areas

c. Provides towel service for pool deck

d. Removes any abandoned debris, clothing, towels from area

e. Removes excess water from floors

f. Maintains supply inventory

g. Maintains games room equipment and replace as necessary

h. Maintains boathouse equipment and replace as necessary

i. Schedules and trains staff according to established standards

3. Programming

a. Plans area activities

b. Implements activities

c. Evaluates activities

4. Use of Social Skills

a. Greets guests

b. Addresses guest

c. Conversing with guest

d. Answering the telephone

e. Dealing with complaints

f. Dealing with difficult customers

g. Working harmoniously with colleagues and management

h. Dealing with accidents to guests and staff

a. Property information

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
