- P-104-24The Porter is primarily responsible for the transportation of patients between clinical areas and for the transportation of equipment, supplies and specimens from one department to another. The porter functions as a member of the clinical team to support the efficient and effectively delivery of health care.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 education
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with respect in an oral and written format with patients, public, colleagues and other health disciplines
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated and proven ability to work in a collaborative care model with all members of the health care team
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety
- Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
- Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
