We are looking to recruit an energetic, talented, self-motivated, Assistant Service Manger in a fast growing small service department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with service advisor experience that wants the opportunity to run their own department and grow an exciting business.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the day to day service workflow
- Direct and schedule activities of all team members
- Arranging/Booking appointments
- Writing Repair Work-Orders
- Following up with customers
- Recommending vehicle repairs to customers
- Co-ordinate Shuttle pick ups/drop offs
- Explaining work completed and invoiced
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Work with the Fixed Operations manager to improve all measured performance indicators including gross sales, profitability, loyalty, CSI etc.
- Collaborate with other department mangers to effect efficient operations.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships

**Requirements**:

- Maintain a positive attitude while leading a team of 5 or more service associates, technicians, apprentice technicians and detailers.
- Commitment to delivering value to the customer with excellent customer service
- Anticipate service associate needs using proper leadership techniques and proven problem-solving methods
- Excellent experience with active listening and accommodating customer needs
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information to customers
- Have a full working knowledge of the service associate handbook to respond to every customer and service associate inquiry
- Have a strong working knowledge of parts
- Monitor time cards and maintain fair schedules while tracking the calendar for holidays and emergency changes

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous service advisor experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive technical repairs and parts
- Self Starter with strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a strong leader, overseeing an entire department of at least five employees
- Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions, and face-to-face customer service interactions
- Must be a CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) leader and ensure customers are please with the level of service expected.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
