The Material Handler/General Labourer, under the direction of the Plant Supervisor, will primarily be responsible for helping the machine operators meet the demands of production and helping the loaders meet the demands of shipping. This position will assist with any material handling and general labourer duties required. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. Flexibility of shift is an important requirement for this position.
- We have positions available on the day shift (4:30am-12:30pm) and afternoon shift (12:30pm-8:30pm)._

Duties Include:

- Assist mill operators with production;
- Assist loading crew with the loading of trucks;
- Safely assemble skids and crates for our product;
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the plant manually, with a forklift, or with an overhead crane;
- Perform quality audits of the condition of goods for outgoing orders;
- Safely operate lifting devices such as Counterbalance Forklifts, Combi-lifts, and Overhead cranes;
- Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times;
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency;
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day;
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions:

- Use of required personal protective equipment
- Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
- Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 25 kilograms

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.06 per hour
