Cleaning and Sanitation Technicians - Tofino, BC

As a Cleaning and Sanitation Technician you will have the opportunity to work with a team during the evenings, start time is based on production speeds during the day. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the plant is properly sanitized, disinfected with various equipment and chemicals, and meets hygiene regulations.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- You will work on your own for a majority of your shift to complete your assigned tasks.
- Using a pressure washer and various equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize the plant equipment to ensure that the building and equipment needs hygiene standards and is ready for the next processing day.

**Your Position Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a cleaning and sanitation position would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of chemical and sanitizing agents and how to properly use them would be considered an asset.
- You are dependable, punctual and have reliable transportation to get to and from work, employees are responsible for their own transportation.

**Your Reward**:

- An hourly pay of $22.92 plus a daily bonus dependent on production speeds and attendance targets. If met, the bonus can exceed an additional $4.00/hr.
