Locksmith

We have an immediate opening for a **Locksmith** for one of our clients in **New Market, ON**. Your job duties will include installing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing locks and other door closures around various buildings and facilities; making duplicate keys when required; managing the supply of keys for all staff, documenting when you issue keys and noting when they are returned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Duplicate keys and locks
- Install locks, both mechanical and electric
- Repair and maintain existing lock systems.
- Keep accurate records of keys when they are distributed and returned.

Locksmith Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant certificate from a vocational school or job training (preferred)
- Experience with a variety of lockpicking tools and key-cutting hardware
- Strong customer service skills
- Related experience in carpentry, preventative maintenance, or electrical work is a plus.

**Shift Timing: Morning**

**Pay rate: $30-$45 per hour**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newmarket, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
