**AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
Reporting to the Business Advisor, Capital Financial Management, responsible to develop and maintain all data related to the capital budget submissions and the status of the delivery of all approved capital projects.
- Provide capital budgeting support by developing, managing and maintaining a comprehensive database of City Facilities and Divisional Projects.
- Analyse divisional capacity to deliver projects, assignment forecasting and reports, and maintains information regarding Key Performance Indicators.
- Liaises with Finance Client Services for Corporate reporting, operating budgets, capital budgets, recoveries, and year-end forecasting and reconciliation.
- Develop methods, processes and comparative forecast models and related key indicators to analyse the performance of the services provided by the Division.
- Liaise with Facilities Operation & Maintenance and Asset Preservation to acquire, analyse and disseminate building condition assessment data and other building audit report information to assist the project validation team in the development of capital programs.
- Research, develop and maintain policies, procedures, forms/templates for approval and implementation, and ensure standardization for project status reporting to senior management and Council.
- Provide operational support.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**:

- High school (Grade 12) graduation plus an additional program of over two and up to three years in Business Administration and/or Accounting, or equivalent diploma or degree
- Over two years up to and including four years of related experience in construction and/or project development and/or budget development.
- Requires strong analytical
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively with staff in a team environment.
