Join our team

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Produce Technical Manuals in Top Aces formats compliant with Top Aces and regulatory standards
- Gather engineering data to support creation of technical data products.
- Integrate text and illustrations.
- Manage the configuration of documentation including record of changes and marking of changes.
- Interface with customers for basic clarification of input.
- Research existing illustrations/graphics to create or revise technical illustration products.
- Add metadata information to files to enable efficient retrieval of stored illustrations.
- Participate on internal departmental teams to develop or revise existing standards, processes and procedures.
- Provide input on processes and procedures required for development of technical publications.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- Minimum of three (3) years of technical manual authoring experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience producing technical manuals for aircraft (maintenance manuals, operating manuals & supplements) is preferred.
- Experience producing technical manuals for combat aircraft is the most pertinent.
- General ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook, digital publishing software)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety, Teamwork, Focus, Innovation and Integrity
- Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values
