If you share our values and would like to work with a skilled professional team, Armour is presently seeking a **Building Operator **to join the team at our prestigious **Queen’s Marque** property on the Halifax Waterfront.
The successful incumbent will ensure the operation of Queens Marques state of the art geothermal heat pump plant and associated high efficiency heating and cooling systems, other mechanical equipment and building systems are managed and maintained at the highest level and upheld in accordance with company standards. You will implement company practices and procedures while maintaining open and fluid communication with the Queen’s Marque Leadership Team. You will effectively manage various tasks simultaneously in an often-high paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:
- Participate in property preventative maintenance programs
- Liaise with tenants and contractors in a professional manner
- Monitor and investigate utility anomalies
- Provide mentoring, guidance and operational support to operations staff across the organization
- Assist in the planning and execution of capital operations in the building
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislative requirements, policies and practices as may be in force from time to time
- Plan preventative maintenance protocols and budgets
