Toronto, Canada Unilever Full time

Position Summary

The principle role of the CPFR Analyst is to ensure on-shelf instock excellence of Unilever products, thereby providing our consumers with the ultimate enjoyment of our products.

The CPFR Analyst is the primary point of contact for Wal-Mart Fulfillment. The role is critical to developing a high quality relationship with this supply chain driven customer, and plays a vital internal role supporting sales growth and driving operational efficiencies while working collaboratively with Supply and Demand Planning and Customer Development.

The CPFR Analyst is responsible for supporting critical decisions and providing recommendations impacting both the customer and Unilever finished goods inventory. The individual must balance maximizing in-stock goals while minimizing inventory levels within both Unilever Canada and our customer’s supply chain network. Influencing the customer, our account team, and our internal supply teams is critical to the effectiveness of this role.

The success of the CPFR Analyst is measured by exceeding 98.5% on both in-stock and product fill rate goals while delivering target return on inventory investment, supporting sales growth, accurately predicting future demand forecasts, and effectively identifying and resolving any supply chain disconnects between our internal planning process and our customer’s inventory requirements.

Achieving these goals will deliver customer satisfaction and maximize sales for both Unilever Canada and our customer.

Position Responsibilities

You will be accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Wal-Mart Fulfillment team. You should be effective in influencing the Wal-Mart Fulfillment team as necessary, gain support for Fulfillment policies that maximize product availability at store level, all the while minimizing inventory in the customer’s supply chain network.

Responsible for meeting customer in-stock target (98.5%) at store level with no out-of-stocks at the distribution centers. This is accomplished by proactively analyzing inventory levels using Wal-Mart’s proprietary Retail Link system, identification of any forecast behaviours or in-stock issues, followed by implementation of action steps to resolve them.

Forecasting: Use judgment to balance risk of “over forecasting”, the impact inventory levels will have on our business cash versus “under forecasting” and missing out on potential sales opportunities.
