Rough Mower

Located in the heart of Guelph, Cutten Fields offers a blend of outstanding tradition with superior service in Guelph’s only first-class private golf and tennis club.

Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.

We are looking for a Rough Mower to join our Golf Course & Grounds Team. Reporting to the Golf Course & Grounds Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent, the Rough Mower is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the golf course by performing skilled work in a safe manner.

**We are looking for someone to**:

- Operate equipment in a variety of maintenance & utility tasks
- Provide general course maintenance such as operation of mowers, utility vehicles and related equipment
- Maintain playing surfaces and surrounding property, including but not limited to greens, fairways, rough, bunkers & tee complexes
- Operate light equipment including leaf blowers, string trimmers & power tools when needed
- Ensure excellent service to all members and guests
- Other duties as required

**The person we are looking for**:

- Must be able to work from **April through to October**
- Must be punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
- Must work well with a team, as well as independently and unsupervised
- Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Possesses a valid driver’s license
- Owns CSA approved work boots
- Knowledge and appreciation for the game of golf is an asset, but not required
