**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Superintendent, Inbound Logistics **to join our **Warehouse Department **in **Sudbury **. This is a **permanent **position.

In this role you will work closely with the Inbound Logistics Manager, mine and surface plants to ensure that aspects of the Warehousing process are being formulated and implemented to meet with acceptable service levels to the operations. The Warehouse Superintendent will take an active leadership role in the safety of personnel and interactions with operations to be an advocate for the safety, health and environmental sustainability of the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Take an active leadership role in the safety and health of personnel, participate in OSHE and safety meetings.
- Be an advocate for safety, health, environmental and sustainability of the organization.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement using VPS methodologies.
- Work with various stakeholders to improve warehouse processes and services.
- Oversee warehouse scheduling, productivity, equipment maintenance, materials & supply management in several different sites across the Sudbury operations. (Surface and Underground)
- Develop and deliver regular reporting on departmental KPIs and projects.
- Provide support to Warehouse Supervisors and Technicians.
- Budget and Cost Management

**About You**

Education
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Logistics/Warehouse Management or related discipline.

Experience
- 5+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory management and logistics
- Extensive knowledge and experience with materials management, logistics and people management.
- Experience with unionized employees and working within a CBA.
- Experience leading a team.

**Skills**:

- Strong computer skills, knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Access & Excel, SAP, and Power BI is an asset.
- A successful track record of high-volume materials handling and logistics coordination.
- Developing strategic plans and creating Key Performance Indicators to track success.
