Roofer

**Schedule**: Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support Roofers with tasks as needed, _including but not limited to_: installation, repairs and replacement of various types of roofing systems.
- Participate and adhere to all company safety protocols while using appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when applicable.
- Responsible for handing and supplying materials or tools during projects.
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools & equipment, set up ladders and scaffolds for bringing supplies to the roof surfaces and taking down materials and tools from work trucks, as directed.
- Demonstrate safe work practices when working at heights.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a labourer; roofing labourer experience is considered an asset
- Must be reliable and responsible with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently & be a self-starter while also collaborating with management, clients and employees.
- Class 5 Driver’s License is considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be willing to work at heights while adhering to safety protocols.
- May be required to work outside of normal working hours on occasion to meet deadlines.
- May be required to work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
- May be required to lift/move loads up to 50lbs.
- May be required to operate equipment or machinery.
