Who we need:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Governance, Regulatory & Government Affairs, the Director, Regulatory Affairs is responsible for ensuring the successful regulatory standing for Yorkville University and Toronto Film School across Canada. This position plays a critical role in:

- overseeing all government submissions at both provincial and federal levels;
- effectively ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards;
- leading successful site visits with regulatory and accrediting bodies, both virtually and in person.

The Director works closely with the Academic and Senior Leadership Teams and is a key player in a collaborative effort to secure and enhance Yorkville’s strong regulatory standing. This position’s partnership with administrators across the university and engagement with various stakeholders is vital in supporting Yorkville's educational mission. What you will do:

- Oversight of all Yorkville University government submissions on a provincial and federal level.
- Execution of site visits and communications with regulators and expert review panels.
- Understanding, and leading the process of achieving the conditions placed on degree programs and or commitments made during quality assurance reviews.
- Evaluates emerging regulatory opportunities and priorities critical to Yorkville University’s success as they relate to the regulatory standing of the University across Canada.
- Contribute to the development of the institution's strategic plan by providing input on regulatory standing and the achievement of institutional goals.
- Manage, mentor and coach project coordinators
- Contribute to a positive corporate culture that supports our core values.

What you bring:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education or non-profit administration, academic affairs, NGOs, or related roles, with 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Capacity, and affinity, to engage with multifaceted, and sometimes conflicting, regulatory environments across Canada.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering results by engaging various types of stakeholders for one common purpose throughout multi-year projects.
- Expert ability to host site visits, regulatory inspections/reviews, or related events where results of the event have tangible impact on future operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
