**Stone Tile International is looking for a **_**Local Delivery Truck Driver**_ **in the GTA to join our dynamic team**

We are continuously looking for the best and most promising individuals to join our tightknit and unique team. Stone Tile is currently looking to fill two (2) Delivery Truck Driver positions to support our day to day warehousing and delivery needs throughout the GTA.

Over the 3+ years you’ve worked as a Delivery Truck driver or in a similar role you have proven to be innovative and an outside the box thinker who thrives on driving company improvement and efficiency. You are proactive and helpful towards all coworkers and clients and prefer to be involved in the action than sit on the sidelines.

**What will you do?**

The Delivery Driver role has many diverse and interesting responsibilities, the primary ones are outlined below:
v Ensure correct loading of the vehicle, recording of delivery information, and providing unparalleled customer service.

v Operate and drive all vehicles in our Stone Tile Fleet, as required to meet our delivery schedule.

v Loading and unloading products in a safe manner.

v Follow the new Samsara routing system to ensure ETA to delivery sites are aligned.

v Take photographs, along with customer signatures for every delivery made.

v Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.

v Communicate with clients one hour prior to delivery to their site. Contact name and phone numbers will be provided to you prior to departure. (5-6 calls a day)

v Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems.

v Other duties as required.

**What type of experience and skills do you have?**

v 3+ years experience in a related position

v Valid DZ Driver's License

v 1+ years Moffett experience

v Certified Boom/Crane operator

v Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities

v Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques

v Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

v Exceptionally high level of hand-eye coordination

v Strong aptitude and ability to provide unparalleled customer service

v Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

v High level of personal integrity

v Must be able to work with little supervision and must be self-directed

v Clean Driver's abstract

v Successful completion of Criminal Background Check

**What is considered an asset?**

v Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures

v Knowledge of First Aid and CPR

v Ability to lift 50- 75 pounds

v Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
