Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Lot Supervisor will be responsible for all day-to-day compound operations and oversee the vehicle holding compound coordinators. Leading by example, this role is hands-on and requires you to not only oversee, but also get in and support the compound when and where needed.

What You Will Do:

- Ensure inventory practices are being followed, which includes but not limited to; monthly inventory checks for system accuracy.
- Completion of monthly inventory
- Identify problem vehicles (aged inventory)
- Contact customer for vehicle pickup after 14 days
- Following cancelled sale procedures
- Servicing our customers needs including but not limited to;
- Vehicle inspections
- Reconditioning - in-house and outsourced
- Coordinating key cutting
- Ensure the team is maintaining secure storage of vehicles, keys and sealing of vehicles from outdoor elements.
- Work with team and mechanical shops to ensure post sales inspections are being completed within 48hrs of arrival.
- Effective communication with manager and team members, ensuring two-way communication is happening.
- Lead and collaborate with the team to ensure we are always finding ways to improve our customer service and productivity.
- Payroll administration which includes but not limited to; approve Personal Day and Vacation request, proper planning for team vacation
- Interdepartmental support and collaboration include but are not limited to, Transport, Sales Resolution, Vehicle Inspections and Sales.
- Ensure the team is completing weekly and monthly KPI’s.
- Monitor team productivity, provide coaching and constructive feedback.
- Ensure all property including but not limited to; buildings, fences, and access gates are properly maintained and operational.
- Check-in and check-out vehicles in accordance with operational procedures using EBlock’s operations system.
- Control release of vehicles with approval and filing of vehicle release forms.
- Ensure all yard operations are conducted with employee health and safety in mind.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years wholesale auto auction experience preferred or equivalent experience.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency with MS Office software and Google Docs
- Effective customer service and organizational skills required.
- Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driver's abstract

Work Conditions:

- Work environment outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Some indoor work related to general administrative duties.
- Manual dexterity may be required to use desktop computer, cell phone and peripheral.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work outside and be on foot for extended periods of time. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color and depth perception. Ability to walk medium to long distances during the workday.
