**MEDIA TEAM Personnel: (Content specialist Assistant)**

**Photographer/Videographer**

This BIPOC Foundation Position Assists by generating photographic documentation and assets to be used for the promotion and storytelling of the organization. The position also assists in the set-up and coverage of local events and feature shoots of success stories, leadership, and other BIPOC Foundation interactivity.

They also aid in the generation of video reels and clips for documentation and assets to be used for the promotion and storytelling of the organization; as well as assist in the set-up and coverage of local events and feature shoots of success stories, leadership, and other BIPOC Foundation interactivity.

Finally, with the rest of the media team, this individual assists in curating ideas, that allows for the creation and development of new and innovative content that aids in communicating the organization’s visions across multiple platforms.

Reporting to the Volunteer Program Lead and HQ, the Photographer will conduct general tasks such as:
∙Taking professional photographs in a studio or on location and working closely with

community members and staff to produce high-quality images

∙Using different post-editing software(s) and techniques to enhance the photographs as

required

∙Suggesting creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives of assigned

projects

∙Using artistic knowledge to enhance and compose photographs for promotion and

production

∙Reviewing sets of photographs and selecting the best resulting images for utilization

∙Keeping availability for all shoots, events, and projects as agreed and scheduled for the

organization and its leadership

∙Operating video cameras, on location or in the studio, for the production of

professional pre-recorded programming and video asset creation

∙Designing the requirements for all studio production projects including, but not

limited to, the transportation and set-up of equipment, the coordination, working

order, and delivery of all required audio and lighting equipment, and the overall

operation of the production equipment

∙Editing and post-production of video assets for use in a variety of digital formats

∙Maintaining equipment maintenance reports and conducting general maintenance or

service coordination for all video and audio production equipment as well as inventory

∙Assisting in the repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties

∙Performing coordination around studio production schedules and carrying out

miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
