Security Guard/ Luxury Store

Toronto, Canada A2A Security Full time

**Duties**:

- Conduct discreet, regular patrols to safeguard store assets and ensure a safe shopping atmosphere
- Monitor advanced surveillance systems and use CCTV to oversee all store areas with keen attention to detail
- Respond promptly and tactfully to any alarms or security alerts, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
- Enforce store protocols while upholding the brand's exclusive atmosphere and customer experience
- Assist customers with a courteous, unobtrusive presence, making them feel secure and valued
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services if required, using diplomacy and professionalism
- Lead loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks, deterring theft, and minimizing incidents

**Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of experience in security, with a focus on loss prevention in high-end retail or luxury environments
- Familiarity with luxury retail protocols, customer service standards, and surveillance equipment
- Exceptional observational skills, with attention to the subtle details in high-traffic, high-value areas
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on providing discreet, upscale customer support
- Calm, reliable, and adept at managing pressure in a customer-focused setting
- Security certification and training in loss prevention techniques is a plus

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- Loss prevention: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
