The Resident Site Lead will manage and direct the day-to-day performance of the material handling equipment supported by his/her specific team. This person’s decisions can have a moderate to high-level impact on business operations. This role will be based out of Varennes, Quebec.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**This is What You Will do in This Role**:

- Lead, coordinate, and direct all functions of their report staff.
- Perform at professional level to interpret/process more complex, less-clearly defined issues.
- Identify and resolve complex problems.
- Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to gain optimum effectiveness.
- Participate in development of department budgets and business plans for functional area.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures within own area of responsibility.
- Identify resource needs and will develop justification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
- Evaluate and analyze: System/equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis and manage resolution of design-performance issues
- Gauge, identify, and implement training based on skill assessment results.
- Manage KPIs and fault data
- Create reports and communication materials to track and report performance issues.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement of maintenance and operations of MHE to the customer.

**What We are Looking For**:

- Associates degree, Technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of position
- **Experience in managing a team of resident maintenance or field service technicians**:

- Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC controls platforms
- DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications platform
- Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics ,and control panels
- Servo Drives, PC controllers, dc power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders, photoeyes, etc.)
- Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems
- Lean Principles (4-Step Problem Solve, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)

- Diriger, coordonner et superviser toutes les fonctions de son équipe.
- Agir à un niveau professionnel pour interpréter/traiter des problèmes plus complexes et moins clairement définis.
- Identifier et résoudre des problèmes complexes.
- Définir des flux de travail, des emplois et des relations hiérarchiques pour une efficacité optimale.
- Participer à l'élaboration des budgets du département et des plans d'affaires pour la zone fonctionnelle.
- Évaluer et recommander des changements de méthodes ou de procédures dans sa propre zone de responsabilité.
- Identifier les besoins en ressources et justifier leur développement.
- Diagnostiquer et résoudre des problèmes complexes.
- Évaluer et analyser : données de performance du système/équipement, effectuer une analyse des causes profondes et gérer la résolution des problèmes de performance de conception. - Évaluer, identifier et mettre en œuvre la formation en fonction des résultats de l'évaluation des compétences.
- Gérer les KPI et les données de défaut.
- Créer des rapports et des supports de communication pour suivre et signaler les problèmes de performance.
- Démontrer l'amélioration continue de la maintenance et des opérations des équipements de manutention de matériaux au client.

**Ce que nous recherchons**:

- Diplôme d'associé, diplôme technique ou expérience équivalente.
- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience réussie dans un domaine directement lié et démonstration réussie du poste.
- Expérience dans la gestion d'une équipe de techniciens de maintenance résidents ou de techniciens de service sur site.
- Plates-formes de contrôle PLC Allen-Bradley ou équivalentes.
- Plateformes de communication réseau DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet ou équivalentes.
- Compétences en dépannage électrique incluant le câblage, l'alimentation électrique CA, les moteurs électriques CA, les schémas électriques et les panneaux de contrôle.
- Entraînements servo, contrôleurs PC, alimentations électriques CC, dispositifs optiques (c.à-d., codeurs, cellules photoélectriques, etc.).
