Family-run for 50 years, KOTT Inc. is one of Ontario’s largest suppliers of residential construction products and services. Our more than 250 employees serve builders and contractors from four manufacturing and distribution locations in Ottawa and the GTA.

We are looking for full-time Material Handlers to join our team in our Ottawa location.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Every other Friday 6:00 am to 3pm.

The wage for this position is $20.00/hour.

- Picking orders of lumber and materials used to build walls and floors.
- Ensuring orders are complete and accurate, identifying any issues or discrepancies.
- Making material packages delivery-ready by safely bundling, strapping, and labeling them for the next stage of handling.

**What you need to succeed**
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with your hands
- Framing experience is considered a strong asset
- Quality and detail oriented
- Capable of heavy lifting daily, and able to stand for long periods
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate well in English

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required - KOTT will provide other PPE
