Landscape Labourer

**LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE**
**TECHNICIAN**

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position involves a variety of physical tasks related to landscaping and grounds maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include mowing, trimming, fertilizing, weeding, and various landscaping duties. Experience driving a truck and trailer, as well as a farm background, are considered assets for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Mowing and Trimming: Operate lawn mowers and trimmers to maintain lawns, ensuring an even and well-groomed appearance.
3. Weeding Garden Beds: Remove weeds and unwanted vegetation from garden beds, ensuring a clean and manicured appearance.
4. Landscaping Duties: Perform various landscaping tasks such as edging, sodding, sod removal, digging for planting, planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as shoveling rock and mulch for landscaping projects.

5. Truck and Trailer Operation (Asset): If you have experience operating a truck and trailer, you may be responsible for transporting equipment, plants, and materials to and from job sites.

6. Experience with Mowing and Trimming (Asset): Previous experience with lawn care equipment and techniques is considered an asset for this role.

7. Farm Background (Asset): A background in farming or agriculture can be beneficial as it often includes experience with outdoor labor and equipment operation.

**Qualifications**:

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of landscape maintenance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Valid driver's license (if operating a truck and trailer).

**Hourly Wage**: $17.50 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
