Ultra Seat Corporation located in Acheson is a supplier of industrial seating to a dealer network and has immediate opening for:
**Material Handler - Shipping Receiving & Inventory Control**

**General Duties / Requirements**:

-  5 plus years of experience in a similar role (industrial supplies, heavy equipment parts).
- Excellent telephone / customer service skills
- Responsible for assuring customer inquiries are handled in a professional, actuate and timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record in a team environment
- Attention to detail maintaining a clean work environment and a desire to contribute to the growth of the company
- Assist with quarterly and year-end inventory counts as well as on-the-spot counts that are required
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
- Operate and properly maintain forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Previous working experience in a small to medium size distribution / manufacturing business an asset but not required.
- Well organized with good communication skills and the ability to prioritize work to ensure deadlines are met.
- Some heavy lifting is required

**Receiving**:

- Place all RGA (Returned Goods) items into the proper holding location for further review and move them according to whether they need to be returned to stock
- Work with engineering to confirm special order parts met specifications
- Insure all stock is properly put in racking and location updates are done in computer system
- Work with purchasing to ensure stock is well organized and identify potential shortages

**Shipping**:

- Responsible for determining methods of shipment and arranging shipping - preparing bills of lading, custom forms, invoices, and all other shipping documents, whether manually or electronically.
- Maintain and organize files for trucks, UPS, Purolator, air and other shipments.
- Assist customers/vendors that arrive at the shipping entrance on an as needed basis
- Processes and maintains required shipping and receiving documents
- Coordinate with assembly workers on picking and pack of orders and verifying quantities

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
