- Good work ethic
- Able to work unsupervised
- Strong safety and risk assessment
- Friendly and engaging

**Certifications**:

- Level 2 Kayak Instructor Leader / Instructor - Canoe and Kayak Canada (or Equivalent)
- Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT 1)
- Wilderness First Aid 50hr. (80hr. Preferred)
- Class IV Drivers License
- 3 Years Whitewater Guiding Experience (Rafting or Kayaking)
- Class IV Whitewater Kayaking Experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Gear and equipment maintenance
- Guide guests in safety demonstrations
- Creating a positive guest experience
- Set up and take down of trip gear
- Employment includes lodging, training and skill development opportunities, competitive wages starting at $25-30/hour(depending on experience), and a fun work environment with an emphasis on safety and creating great guest experiences.
