**Job purpose**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Responsible for reviewing work orders to ensure all data is up to date and accurate.
- Complete audits on internal and external work orders and parts to ensure accurate completion.
- Ensure all work orders are fully completed and informed with all required details.
- Ensure all work orders and maintenance activities are derived and accurately closed out.
- Maintain records of the work history of each piece of equipment and work with maintenance managers to review our program as required.
- Work on CMMS, add new assets, and maintain user groups on FIIX.
- Creation of Bill of Materials for all assets and updates as required
- Complete audits on usage on FIIX program, including requesting spot part inventories and spot work order completion date accuracy.
- Review completed work orders, including reviewing suggested completion time vs actual completed time and ensuring full shift reports are completed.
- Monitor estimated arrival of parts and ensure parts are not overdue to complete work orders on a timely manner.
- Create purchase orders for approved quotes and upload PO number on FIIX for accurate tracking.
- Connect approved quotes with invoices for all planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date in accordance with RDJ standards including quality programs and health and safety programs.
- Synergize with third party contractors to perform Work Orders deemed as work that cannot be performed by an RDJ labour source. IE. Building Maintenance.
- Define, negotiate, communicate, and monitor project deliverables and work closely with other stake holders to propose solutions and meet objectives.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Degree required in a technical field and 1 - 3 years of maintenance scheduling / planning experience and/or 5 - 10 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
- Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (FIIX preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Project management and capital project experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
