The General Laborer and Service Technician will support our Installation Team, our Windows and Doors Specialist and our Kitchen installers. They will provide them with additional help in any installs as needed. They must easily be able to shift from one jobsite to another while working within a team or individually on smaller jobs. They must be able to focus on regular maintenance. They must be able to take measurements and/or repairing any minor window repairs.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, install techniques, and construction basics in order to repair products in the field
- Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to work with hand and power tools
- Ability to physically climb and work off ladders and/or scaffolds and carry products upstairs
- Be able to install cabinets
- Experience in repairing all types of windows and doors; such as casements, sliders, and hung windows
- Responsible for making adjustments, replacing parts and pieces, taking measurements, installing screens, balancing windows, replacing the glass and/or sashes, cleaning windows, and any other necessary adjustments
- Ability to complete paperwork associated with services
- Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills
- Must be able to read and understand measurements and conduct final measurements
- Must be able to physically capable of lifting greater than 50lbs at times
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Follow all company rules and policies
- Ability to work full time, with a flexible schedule
- Clean driving record and current drivers license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All customer and staff must wear masks at all times. In the common areas frequent sanitizing is maintained. Sanitizers are found at all workstations and sanitizing fogging is done nightly

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aurora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
