Perform general office support duties as required

Gear up with warm and professional customer service that exceeds an average customer's expectations

help with patient care, patient flow and patient satisfaction

Opening and closing procedures and maintains testing instruments

Educate and help patients in all areas related to their exam

Assist with contact lens education, training, and ordering

Collect payment and submit orders

Assist the doctor during the exam by documenting, administering drops, etc.

Conduct preliminary testing

Ensure a positive patient experience throughout the exam.

help with staff training and staff meetings

Maintaining the clinic (window display/merchandising, display, counters, sweep/mop/washroom/garbage/watering of plants/shovel in the winter, bringing in the mail, etc)

Guiding customers in finding fashionable and functional eyewear;
Selling of frames/lenses/general goods/contact lenses

Dispense eyewear to patients (selecting appropriate frames and lenses, taking measurements)

Develop an in-depth understanding of our ordering process

Keep track of orders in a timely manner to ensure all orders are completed, received and delivered to patient

Troubleshooting with glasses and/or contact lenses when needed with recommending solutions to patients

Maintain and clean all equipments for optimal performance

maintain up to date with new products in the ophthalmic industry including frames, lenses, contact lenses, equipment, edging and finishing, repairs and adjustments, etc.

competent in their optical knowledge and technical skills.
