**Overview**
**Duties**
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and network problems in Windows based environments.
- Utilize ticketing systems such track, manage and document support requests.
- Assist users with desktop support tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems.
- Perform network troubleshooting and assist in basic computer networking issues.
- Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles for common problems encountered by users.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tickets to provide updates to users.
**Experience**
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems is required; experience with other operating systems is a plus.
- Strong skills in software troubleshooting and desktop support are essential.
- Basic understanding of computer networking principles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Milton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- IT support: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
