**Overview**
**Duties**
- Implement individualized behaviour intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviours during sessions.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including the group home and community environments.
- Assist in the development of strategies to promote positive behaviours and reduce challenging behaviours.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients while fostering independence and skill development.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Complete some light house cleaning duties and daily meal preparation for clients.
**Experience**
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities and youth that present with high-risk challenging behaviours
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are critical attributes for success in this role.
- A background in psychology, social work, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Current SMG crisis management training is an asset

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
